A mat quotation becomes more accurate when the artwork and construction decisions are separated. The playing surface, backing, dimensions, corners, edge treatment, packaging, and shipping method each affect sampling and production.
1. Confirm the construction
The Henry Mahjong mat program uses a printable fabric playing surface with a diatomaceous-earth composite backing. State whether the mat will be sold alone or bundled with a Mahjong set, because the package structure and freight calculation may change.
2. Select the finished size
The online designer includes square sizes of 60 × 60, 80 × 80, 84 × 84, 90 × 90, and 100 × 100 cm. Choose the size based on the intended table, playing area, retail package, and shipping plan. If you need another dimension, include it in the RFQ for feasibility review.
3. Prepare full-surface artwork
Supply artwork at the finished aspect ratio and keep important logos, text, borders, and scoring marks away from the trim area. Vector artwork or a high-resolution production file is preferred. Include color references and identify whether the background should print to the edge. Use only original or authorized artwork.
4. Choose corners and edge finishing
Rounded and square corners create different visual and handling results. A clean-cut, unbound edge has no MOQ and can be made from one mat. Optional solid-color edge binding adds a finished border and requires a separate color decision; a custom binding color starts at 200 mats.
5. Define packaging and handling
Possible packaging directions include a polybag, tube, box, private-label sleeve, or a package shared with a Mahjong set. Confirm whether the mat will ship flat or rolled, how the printed surface is protected, and whether retail labels, inserts, or carton marks are required.
6. Approve the sample details
Review the finished dimensions, print scale, color direction, edge quality, corner shape, surface feel, backing, rolling behavior, packaging fit, and any visible pressure marks. Final color and print performance should be approved against the sample and written specification.
